Alaska ICE BOX Bar
This freestanding bar was originally an Ice Box dated from the early 1900s from company Alaska in Muskegon Michigan. WT transformed this piece by stripping the old varnish, replacing the door inserts with wavy glass, adding inner shelves and refinished the original brass hardware.
FUN FACT - An icebox (also called a cold closet) is a compact non-mechanical refrigerator that was a common early-twentieth-century kitchen appliance before the development of safely powered refrigeration devices. Before the development of electric refrigerators, iceboxes were referred to by the public as "refrigerators".
